At Protect Israel Fund, our vision is clear: to enhance the physical security of small, at-risk Israeli communities while maintaining accountabiity and transparency to our generous donors. We are dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable populations from the threat of terror attacks through strategic funding and donor-guided support and feedback.

We focus on providing funding for essential security measures such as surveillance systems, enhanced shelters, and emergency preparedness resources and training that YOU the donors help to select and fund. Our Founder
Protect Israel Fund was founded by Chicago-native Benjamin Ferdinand in 2024 shortly after he returned from three weeks of volunteer work in Israel during the height of the Israel-Hamas war. With decades of experience in local and Federal law enforcement in the United States, he saw the immediate need for security enhancements at many of the communities he visited, especially those near the Gaza and Lebanon borders and in the Judea/Samaria communities. Recognizing the budgetary limitations of the State of Israel (especially during wartime), Ben recognized an opportunity for American supporters of Israel to make donations that would fund tangible and immediate security improvements to many of these at-risk Israeli communities.
